Alright, I’ve searched far and wide and I finally figured out a recipe for pickling cucumbers that doesn’t require a boil and makes them a-mazing. Here it goes.
- ~ 3 cucumbers
- 1 cup of Water
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- bunch of dill (like 5-6 sticks)
- 3-10 peppercorns
- (optional) 2 jalapeños for the spicy
- (optional) 1/4 white onion for a little kick
- Mix all ingredients minus cucumbers and dill in a measuring bowl
- cut up cucumbers
- stuff them + dill in a mason jar, you’ll need a few small ones or one big one.
- fill the jar up to covering the cucumbers
- cover it
- give it a good shake
- fridge that
Enjoy in 24 hours and for up to a few weeks.
